Trisha graduated from the College of St. Teresa in 1969 with a degree in nursing. Her acute care experience encompassed orthopedics, dialysis, respiratory and cardiac critical care. Her career has focused on Home Care of seniors since 1994. She founded Partners in Senior Care in 2003 with a two fold mission: Provide the highest level of care to seniors and provide employees with the support and benefits that will allow them to deliver the care she envisions. A simple statement sums up this philosophy: "All clients will be treated the way I want my mother cared for and no caregiver will be hired who I would not send to care for my mother."
Trisha is a member of the Home Health, Home Services and Home Nursing Advisory Board to the Illinois Department of Public Health and was a member of the committee that helped draft the rules and regulations for PA 94 (the law that mandates licensure of private duty care in Illinois). She is also a member of the Home and Community Bases Services Cabinet of Life Services Network, the Norwood Seniors Network and the Senior Advisory Committee to Congresswoman Melissa Bean. She is an active member of both the National Private Duty Association and the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Additionally, she is a frequent national and local speaker on issues regarding quality senior care.
